I said "clings" but homosexuals continue to "cleave"

reprinted from August 17, 2010

I think I have made this clear, but in light of certain events and my desire to teach so many of you that you are going the "wrong way" I will once again explain why I, as Messiah, must be opposed to gay marriages.

Firstly, on June 30, 2006 I said God would revise my copy, and countess other copies of Genesis chapter 2, verse 24 to make it abundantly clear that He only favors unions between men and women.  (It was the Greeks and the Romans that touted the virtues of gay unions.)  I was not anxious at the time to do so, but I must submit to His will as much, if not more, than any other person who has ever lived.  This predicted change occurred in my copy inside seven months.  If you were paying attention then you would know that I was accurate.  I must go along with this work of the Holy Spirit and not pretend in any way that it did NOT happen.  I predicted it, words and strokes changed, as I indicated they would during a speech in the Holy Land some 2,000 years ago.  If you don't like it, that is your problem!

Now for some additional support for my position.

Perhaps you have heard of the Ten Commandments?

FROM EXODUS 20
using the New Living Translation

1 Then God gave the people all these instructions:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.

3 “You must not have any other god but me.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.

4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. 5 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. 6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.  But please keep in mind He wants you to follow ALL of His Commandments.

7 “You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.  But if you use His name, or mine, to justify BREAKING His commands, then you are misusing His name.  If you misuse my words, then you are also offending Him.  Please keep that in mind.  Wearing a cross while you do that will not placate Him or me.

8 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 You have six days each week for your ordinary work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

If you do something unholy on this day, like commit an abhorrent act, then you HAVE violated His Commandment.

12 “Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

A Gay Marriage does not, by definition, have a father and mother.  It is not possible for children raised in a Gay Marriage to obey this commandment.  A Gay Marriage, by definition, prevents this Commandment from being fulfilled.  Now reread the Second Commandment in this list.

13 “You must not murder.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.

14 “You must not commit adultery.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.  Although the definition of adultery in a Gay Marriage is not EXACTLY the same as what was intended in the original conveyance of the Commandment. I would explain it further but since so many of you have a real problem with the definition of adultery I will not even attempt to explain to you what is meant by it. Perhaps go to Sermon on the Mount to get a clear idea. It is also mentioned later in this list

15 “You must not steal.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.

16 “You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed.

17 “You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.”

There is no reason, based just on being a Gay Married couple, that this Commandment cannot be followed. Although I would add that in the example of a Male Gay Married couple there is very little if any chance of one of the spouses coveting the neighbor’s wife. Maybe some of her property, but not her, per se. In the example of a Female Gay Married couple there is a higher chance of coveting the neighbor’s wife. Regardless of the sexual orientation of the married couple, the coveting is a sin and it is one that is committed before an out-of-wedlock sex act occurs. Thus, that is why I mentioned in Sermon of the Mount to not commit “adultery in your heart.”  I have looked upon married women in the "wrong way" but mostly because married women in this day and age have forgotten how to ACT like married women.  I have been deceived many times in this regard.  Had to say it.

18 When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear.

19 And they said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let God speak directly to us, or we will die!”

20 “Don’t be afraid,” Moses answered them, “for God has come in this way to test you, and so that your fear of him will keep you from sinning!”

Notice how scary it was when these Commandments were revealed in the first place. Do you think because many years have passed that they do not still apply to you? Of course, they do! God's Commandments do not need revising; they are timeless and His warnings contained within the instructions still apply to everyone.

You should still be scared of Him.

And me.

What part of this do you not understand?
